8 Layer Dip

Personal Chef turned Blogger, one of my favorite creations is now yours!


Featuring one of my new favorite products: PESTO ALLA FIRENZE ARTICHOKE by KITCHEN OF LOVE CUCINA & AMORE.


Prior to my dairy free way of life, spinach and artichoke dip was my preferred choice for an appetizer. I had to say goodbye over twelve years ago and I've been without for way too long!


PESTO ALLA FIRENZE doesn't contain spinach but the mouth feel and flavor is very similar to the appetizers I so fondly remember. Pesto products typically contain dairy so I've been without these too. A very special thank you goes out to KITCHEN OF LOVE CUCINA & AMORE for making my dairy free way of life more satisfying and complete!


Their exceptional product is certified vegan making it too dairy free and cholesterol free. It contains no sugar, no colors, and no nuts. It's also certified kosher and free of genetically modified organisms (GMOs)!


(Step #1) Gather Essentials: organic ingredients if possible, at least NON-GMO Project Verified

-Refried Black Beans

-Mango Habanero Salsa

-Pesto Alla Firenze Artichoke

-Cashew Queso, Mild Nacho

-Sliced Peppers (you choose your favorites - I love jalapeños and Hungarian wax)

-Sliced Black Olives

-Diced Fresh Tomatoes (not pictured by mistake)

-Cubed Avocado

-Corn Bread Cracker Minis (you will never find a better chip for your layer dip - promise! I recently featured this local company when making Jack's Nachos!)


(Step 2) Preheat oven to 425 degrees fahrenheit


(Step 3) Choose your oven friendly container based on how many individuals you plan to serve in addition to the amount of leftovers you desire!


(Step 4) In the order listed above layer refried baked beans, salsa (amount based on heat preference), artichoke dip, queso, peppers (amount based on heat preference), black olives, and tomatoes. Secure foil on top of your oven friendly container and bake dip for 20 minutes!


(Step 5) Remove from oven and top with fresh avocado!


(Step 6) Serve with Corn Bread Cracker Minis and enjoy!

This 8 Layer Dip is dairy free, gluten free, and soy free, making it Maggie approved but most importantly it's mouthwateringly delicious!


If you're serving individuals who love dairy, love gluten, and love soy, they will not notice your layer dip is lacking their favorites but they will notice how delectable your dip is!
