a little Sugar for your Sugar!

On occasion it's perfectly okay to satisfy your sweet tooth! I have chosen the best ingredients to ensure the least amount of guilt associated with this indulgence. Personal Chef turned Blogger! One of my favorite recipes is now yours!


(Step 1) Gather essentials...you are going to need the following...


* 1 1/2 cups of semisweet chocolate chips

I recommend mini chips by Enjoy life as they are allergen friendly, gluten-free, dairy-free, certified vegan, soy free, and thus Maggie approved! These chocolate chips are also NON-GMO Project Verified, Kosher, and FODMAP and Paleo Friendly.


*1 cup of fresh ground almond butter

I grind mine at Raisin Rack and Fresh Thyme in Columbus, Ohio!


*1/4 cup + 1/8 cup of Earth Balance Organic Coconut Spread


*1 1/2 teaspoons of pure organic vanilla extract


*1/2 teaspoon of fresh ground Himalayan salt


*1 box (10.5 ounces) of Organic, Gluten Free, Honey Vanilla Crunch Cereal by Cascadian Farm


*4 cups of tiny gluten free pretzel twists

Snyder's makes impressive gluten free pretzels but I chose Quinn because their offerings are NON-GMO Project Verified, which is very important to me if organic is not available. I purchased these pretzels from Lucky's Market on North High Street!


*1/2 cup of organic powdered (confectioners) sugar


*1 bag (5 ounces) of Lovely O-n-Os; Organic Dark Chocolate in a Delicate Candy Shell

Consciously Crafted, Dairy-Free, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Soy-Free, No HFCS (High Fructose Corn Syrup), and No Artificial Ingredients! I searched locally for a product like this one but was unsuccessful; fortunately, Amazon Prime pulled through!


(Step 2) In a saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the chocolate chips, almond butter, and organic coconut spread

Be sure to always infuse the best of energy into your edible creations! Let the kitchen become the art room where you create edible masterpieces that literally become you and those you choose to serve! If you infuse love into your food, you and others will taste and fell the love!

This is how we do Step #2...


(Step 3) Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla and salt


(Step 4) In an extra large bowl, combine cereal and pretzels. Pour chocolate mixture overtop and GENTLY stir to coat! The longer you stir the better your coat will be!


(Step 5) When you're satisfied with your chocolate coating, thinly spread creation onto a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and sprinkle with powdered sugar and

O-n-Os!


(Step 6) Place cookie sheet in refrigerator, overnight preferably! The longer you wait, the better your creation will taste, in my opinion!


(Step 7) The next morning, place your creation in glass storage containers or large freezer bags!


(Step 8) Enjoy 1/3 cup per person, per serving, and keep all leftovers in refrigeration!

If you're going to commit to satisfying your sweet tooth, from time to time, to prevent the craving from getting too big and out of control, then commit to having a guilt free positive experience with dessert!
