I am writing to you within Mammoth Cave National Park in Kentucky at 8:36pm Central Time as a thunder and lighting storm rolls into town!
I just finished their 2.5 hour lantern lit Star Chamber hike through the worlds largest network of cavern corridors, stretching 330 miles in length!
My location is particularly fitting for my topic of conversation...
On a personal level, you should know that I have four brothers. I have never been particularly close to all of them at the same time. The depth of our relationships ebb and flow with time like most things.
My youngest brother, Tyler, presented himself in the fore front of my life at a most interesting time. It was around June 2018 and I was moving through one of the most difficult times in my life to date. I was in the final stages of preparing my circa 1900 farmhouse for sale on the market.
With walk throughs and a closing date on the horizon, I was intensely focused on a desire to cleanse the energy of the house and initiate a perimeter of protection. Honestly, these desires were for the home herself. I had evaluated her life to be difficult with multiple previous owners who neglected her and I desired a better future for the farmhouse.
Tyler appeared like Mary Poppins, unexpected but dearly needed. In his bag he carried a plethora of crystals and an educational book on how best to manifest their powers.
After countless hours of reading on the topic, I have come to learn that crystals are said to be the earth's DNA. Miniature powerhouses subjected to enormous pressures and grown in chambers deep underground.
When cleansed, charged and programmed appropriately their beautiful structures can absorb, conserve, focus and transmit energy. All of which makes complete sense when experiencing first hand the energetic powers in the deep underground chambers of Mammoth Cave.
Almost exactly one year later I find myself at a similarly interesting crossroad. At this moment in time, I am moving into my very own tiny home, cabin, hidden within a seven acre pine tree forest in Southeast Ohio.

I prefer to do my crystal shopping at Pearls of Wisdom in Columbus, Ohio.

-5 pieces of Black Tourmaline
-1 piece of Citrine
-1 piece of Rose Quartz, preferably heart shaped to amplify its intention
-5 pieces of Sardonyx
-5 pieces of Selenite, preferably ball shaped to transmit energy in all directions equally though a natural wand is pictured below
-1 Tantric Twin Quarts crystal, preferably absolutely identical crystals aligned side by side to ensure equality on all levels
I primarily cleanse my crystals with burning sage and palo santo.

On special occasion I might rinse my crystals in a sacred waterfall.
I charge my crystals in the moonlight especially when it is documented to be full.

-Once cleansed, charged and programmed, Black Tourmaline should be placed in the four corners of your home and above your front entry door.
-Once Citrine has been charged and programmed, it belongs in the back left corner of your home known to be your Wealth corner.
-Once Rose Quartz has been cleansed, charged and programmed, it belongs in the back right corner of your home known to be your Relationship corner.
-Once cleansed, charged and programmed, Sardonyx should be placed in the four corners of your home and above your front entry door.
-Once cleansed (not with liquid), charged and programmed, Selenite should be placed in the four corners of your home and above your front entry door.
