(Step 5) Smear refried beans on top of each chip with knife
(Step 6) Place a dollop of cheese on top of beans
(Step 7) Slice tomatoes, pepper, olives, and avocado and place a taste on each chip! *Make sure you sample pepper before you add to nachos to make sure you like the heat provided!
(Step 8 - non vegan option) Shred canned jackfruit with fork and knife to resemble pulled pork. Add 2-3 tablespoons of bbq sauce and a drizzle of honey and mix!
(Step 9) Add homemade jackfruit to chips OR use thawed and shredded Hickory Smoked Jackfruit by The Jackfruit Company if you desire to go vegan today!
(Step 10) Sprinkle with black pepper
(Step 11) Bake for 10 minutes
(Step 12) Enjoy! Buen Provecho (Bon Appétit in Spanish)
It's said that pigs have an average intelligence of a five year old child. That they know when they're to be slaughtered. That fear and sadness is infused into their being in the last moments of their life. Those emotions are then transferred to us when we consume them. Before you can easily say goodbye to the consumption of pork you must first secure a better replacement! May jackfruit be that replacement for you moving forward! Eat jack save a pig!
