If you're unaware as to why I choose a dairy free way of life consider viewing Cheese Please published on July 21st, 2019!
One of my favorite ways to break my fast in the mornings is with a diary free yogurt and a side of fruit, such as, cantaloupe or mangos! There are pretty amazing products on the market these days leaving me fully satisfied and never craving yogurt made from cows milk!
Taking into account my desires to eat with the seasons, coconut based yogurts would be recommended in the summer months. Almond milk and cashew based yogurts would be ideal in the coming fall and winter seasons! Oat milk yogurts should be considered in the spring months but I've yet to find a brand I would love to recommend. I'm hoping by the time spring arrives I will have added a postscript to this blog post with my latest and greatest oat milk yogurt recommendation!
for your consideration...
Chobani Coconut was purchased at Kroger for $1.25 per container. Current flavors offered are blueberry, peach, slightly sweet plain, strawberry, and vanilla. This product is made vegetarian friendly, dairy and gluten free with no genetically modified organisms (GMOs), and no artificial ingredients. Probiotics are included to help support the health of our digestive tract and our immune system!
SO DELICIOUS coconutmilk yogurt was also purchased at Kroger for $1.25 per container. SO many flavors currently offered...coco almond crunch, spiced blueberry, salted caramel cluster, key lime pie, vanilla, strawberry, pineapple brulee, unsweetened vanilla, unsweetened plain, strawberry banana, raspberry, plain, peach, chocolate, and blueberry! SO DELICIOUS is gluten and dairy free, certified vegan, non-GMO project verified, also containing live active cultures!
Fall & Wintertime Yogurt...
Silk ALMONDMILK YOGURT was purchased at Kroger for $1.25 per container. Their present-day flavors include peach, dark chocolate, strawberry, mixed berry acai, unsweet vanilla, plain, and vanilla. Also gluten and dairy/lactose free. Cholesterol only comes from animal products so all of these offerings are cholesterol free but Silk is smart enough to brag about this fact! I follow a soy free way of life so all my offerings will be soy free but Silk is smart to brag about this fact too! Certified vegan, non-GMO project verified, with live active cultures, and no artificial flavors!
Forager Project Organic Cashewmilk Yogurt was purchased at Raisin Rack in Westerville for $1.99 per container and worth it for the USDA certified Organic stamp by my standards! Their cherry flavor happens to be my favorite yogurt offering regardless of company! Other flavors include unsweetened plain, blueberry, strawberry, vanilla, and lemon. Gluten, soy, and dairy free! Certified vegan and kosher with 1 billion live active cultures per serving. Made from scratch by a family owned company in Indio, California!
Break fast of champions! Consider saying goodbye to your cows milk based yogurts and consider saying hello to vegan options that are far superior for your one and only temple!
Peace, Love, & Everlasting Protection!
