Disconnecting to Connect

Updated: Jan 28, 2022

* SPOKEN WORD added 11.15.21 *

How often do you completely power down the world? With the intention of connecting more deeply and profoundly with the one who matters most...yourself!

The required frequency of a complete power down is individual but I prefer at least once monthly.

-no friends or family

(If you want to be respectful let them know about your plans for powering down the world so they don't worry and so you can fully relax and enjoy yourself).

-no acquaintances or strangers

-no social media

-no cell phones

-no televisions

-no computers

-etc. you get the picture I'm painting

Statistically speaking our society is too connected and too involved. How can anyone work towards becoming the very best version of themself if alone time is not regularly and responsibly taken? One must have consistent and appropriate space to evaluate who they truly are and who they truly desire to become if there is going to be any hope for achievement.

When I place the world on silent/do not disturb I enjoy...

-yoga asanas, flowing from one physical yogic posture to the next

-different styles of meditation:

+movement: tai chi

+walking, hiking

+contemplation: "who am I?"

+mantras

+breathwork: counting, 4.7.8, vibrations

+mala

+dhyana: focused attention, becoming absorbed in what I am focused on

~If you're a member of my Online Yoga & Meditation service please visit the following links to sample my favorite styles of meditation:

-journaling (pen and paper)

-biking nature trails

-reading self development styles of paper text

*What would you do when the world is placed on silent/do not disturb?

*How often do you simply enjoy yourself with zero distractions?

*Do you know who you truly are? *Do you like what you see?

*Do you know who you truly desire to become in this lifetime?

*What type of gap is present when comparing who you are with who you desire to become?

*What are you going to do this month to close your gap by at least one step in the right direction?

*Did this expression add value to your life? Please consider donating to support in buying a symbolic cup of coffee! Thank you in advance for your contribution & generosity!

I hope you schedule and look forward to regularly and completely powering down the world as I do. I hope you honor your scheduled worldly disconnection as you would any other appointment. I hope you grow exponentially as a result of your due diligence.

Peace, Love, & Everlasting Protection!
