Kids Yoga with Maggie Poppins
I'm Maggie, born in 1985 and aging gracefully! I attribute my babyface to my educational background as I truly practice and embody what I teach!
I'm currently registered with Yoga Alliance as an Experienced-Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT 500). I fell in love with yoga over 22 years ago and continue to practice daily. I am passionate about Kids Yoga specifically, as I only wish I was gifted this knowledge at a younger age.

I was formerly a Registered Dietitian and Licensed Dietitian. I actively practiced for 12 years.
My educational background pairs perfectly with yoga! It is a common misconception that yoga is simply an exercise routine or a tool to stretch the body. Yoga is physical movement and yogic posture but it's so much more than that! Yoga is also how best to care for our internal and external environments; it's choosing to go inward rather than being distracted by our senses; it's concentration; it's breathwork; it's meditation; it's integration of everything just mentioned; it's union of the body, mind, and breath meaning that everything is moving in unison rather than in disharmony. I find the art and the science of yoga to be the supreme owner’s manual for how best to care for the body, mind, and breath.
I am passionately dedicated and provide the positive support that's necessary to achieve optimal wellness!
Enjoy fun yoga poses, storytelling, singing, dancing, games, breathwork, and mindfulness exercises for kids! My intention is to improve flexibility and balance, build strength and attentiveness, reduce stress, and enhance relaxation!
